Air Freight
航空輸送About 5–7 calendar days from cargo receipt at our China warehouse to receipt in Japan. Suitable for urgent and small-to-medium shipments.
Sea Freight
海上輸送About 18 calendar days by fast vessel or 30 by standard vessel, measured from China warehouse receipt to receipt in Japan.

Transport plans
Under either plan, we coordinate China export procedures, international transport, required product checks and certification procedures, Japan import clearance, tax payment, and post-clearance domestic delivery in Japan.
DDP
We coordinate the international logistics operation from China export through final delivery in Japan.
- Transport: air freight or sea freight
- Pricing: chargeable weight × rate per kilogram
- Included in the quotation: China export, international transport, required product checks and certification procedures and their fees, Japan import clearance, customs duty and import consumption tax, and post-clearance domestic delivery in Japan
- Customs duty and import consumption tax are included in the quotation, with no separate payment required
Amazon FBA Fixed-Tax Plan
As with DDP, we coordinate China export through domestic delivery in Japan and confirm each cost before shipment.
- Transport: sea freight only
- Cost calculation: sea freight by actual CBM, tax, product-related procedure or certification fees, and labeling fees calculated separately
- Confirmation: each cost is confirmed before shipment
Delivery and labeling for Amazon FBA
Both DDP and the Amazon FBA fixed-tax plan support delivery to a designated Amazon FBA fulfillment-center address.
When labeling is requested, the cargo is transferred to our warehouse in Japan after import clearance. Once labeling is complete, it is delivered to the designated Amazon FBA fulfillment center. Labeling fees are calculated separately according to the required work.
FBA fixed-tax formula
Current Amazon selling price × product-specific fixed-tax declaration percentage × applicable tax rate × total product quantity × designated settlement exchange rate = fixed-tax amount
The result is shown in RMB using our designated settlement exchange rate on the quotation date. The fixed-tax declaration percentage depends on the product. Sea freight is calculated by actual CBM from a 1 CBM minimum, and heavy cargo may incur an additional calculation. FNSKU product labels, carton labels, inspection, carton replacement, and reinforced packing can be arranged when required.

Customer challenge
The customer did not have the setup to manage Japanese import clearance or import tax payments and wanted one door-to-door solution instead of coordinating export, freight, customs, tax, and domestic delivery separately.
Our arrangement
After receipt at our Shenzhen warehouse, we coordinated China export clearance, standard-vessel sea freight, Japan import clearance, import-tax handling, and final delivery to the designated address in Tokyo under DDP.
Customer feedbackOur biggest concern with this liquid cargo was import clearance and tax handling in Japan. Once we sent it to the Shenzhen warehouse, the remaining stages were coordinated through one team. The process was clear, and the shipment was received successfully in 30 calendar days.

Customer challenge
The shipment was large, standard DDP pricing was not a good fit, and the customer had neither an importer in Japan nor enough staff in China to apply FNSKU product labels and Amazon carton labels.
Our arrangement
Sea freight was calculated by actual CBM, while the fixed-tax amount was determined from the Amazon selling link and product conditions. After import clearance in Japan, the overseas warehouse applied product and carton labels before delivery to the designated FBA center.
Customer feedbackWe could confirm freight by actual volume and understand the tax calculation in advance. Import clearance, product labels, carton labels, and FBA delivery were all coordinated together, which made the overall operation much easier.

Customer challenge
The cargo was too large, long, and heavy for a standard route. The customer wanted import clearance, tax handling, and final transport to Hokkaido coordinated together and had unloading equipment available at the destination.
Our arrangement
We arranged a 40-foot container, China export, sea freight, Japan import clearance, tax handling, and chartered delivery to Hokkaido. Unloading was completed by the customer.
Customer feedbackWith only two units weighing 6,000kg in total, the route and final delivery to Hokkaido were our main concerns. The container, customs, tax, and final delivery were coordinated together, and we only needed to prepare for unloading at receipt.

Feedback from a Japanese businessWe are a Japanese company selling products sourced from China. We considered operating our own warehouse, but the ongoing costs extended well beyond rent to staffing, recruitment and management, packing materials, equipment, domestic delivery, and return handling. Fixed costs and staffing levels were also a concern whenever order volume changed.
Since using the Warehousing & Fulfillment in Japan service, we can coordinate product storage, order processing, picking, packing, shipping-label application, and domestic delivery through one service. Returns can also be received, unpacked and checked, photographed, repacked, relabeled, and returned to stock.
